Pattern of Harassment

The Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) on Friday enlisted a body of evidence against Amnesty International India and three of its partner associations for supposed infringement of laws relating to Rs 36 crore remote fundings, said authorities.

After the case was enrolled, the CBI completed look at four puts in the national capital and Bengaluru.

Authorities said the CBI enlisted the case on November 5 after a grievance held up by the Union Home Ministry for supposed infringement of the arrangement of the Foreign Contribution (Regulation) Act, 2010 and Indian Penal Code. The argument was enrolled against Amnesty International India Pvt Ltd (AIIPL), Indians For Amnesty International Trust (IAIT), Amnesty International India Foundation Trust (AIIFT), Amnesty International South Asia Foundation (AISAF) and others.
